Aisling Bea

Aisling is a popular Irish comedian, who's been performing for a long time. Her birthplace was in Kildare Ireland on 16th March 1984. She was on QI, with Stephen Fry. Aisling CliodhnadhSullivan (born 16 March 1984), also known as Aisling bea she is an Irish comedian, writer and actress. Bea, who began appearing as bit roles in Irish or British TV shows in 2009, began her career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. The year 2012 saw her begin to appear regularly on sketch and sitcoms. Following her win in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to appear regularly on numerous panel shows for which she is now a regular. From 2016 to 2017 she served as the team captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats as well as a frequent participant in the show's sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister who is named Sinead. She became only the second female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. The surname of Bea is in honor of her father who passed away. Aisling Cliodhnadh, O'Sullivan is the daughter of a Kildare born woman. Her birth date was in March 16, 1984. She was the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan. Brian was a veterinarian for horses who took his own life when Bea was just three years old though she wasn't told about what happened to him until she reached the age of thirteen. The stage name she chose was Bea to pay tribute to her father who passed away. She also wrote a 2017 article in The Guardian on her family's suicide story. Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) were brought up in a home by Helen Moloney, a educator and jockey trainer who was a professional jockey. Their family was enthralled by races and horses. Bea was a guide for the Irish National Stud in her young years. But she was aware it wasn't something she wanted to pursue in a career and she preferred doing.
