Michael Keaton's performance in "Birdman" is one of his most notable film. A versatile actor, he is able to perform comedy and dramatic parts. In addition to playing the roles of a romantic, he has also was a part of action films and thrillers. He developed an interest in acting and performing when at the age of teen and tried his luck at stand-up comedy while an adult. While his stand-up comedy venture was not successful, it was the foundation to his acting career. In order to be successful as a comic and performer, he was hired in the role of a cameraman with the local cable TV station. As a cable station, he discovered the desire to work front of a camera. The TV role was agreed to and he appeared on several episodes Mister Rogers Neighborhood. His talent as an actor earned him a lot of attention on TV. He began a film career with great hopes and achieved a great deal of recognition through his comedic characters. Further acclaim was earned when he portrayed Batman's eponymous superhero from Tim Burton's Batman. In his later years, as a mature actor he also began to venture into producing and directing. The role he played in 2014's Birdman was nominated for numerous nominations and prizes.
