Michael Keaton is an American actor producer and director best known for his performance in the film 'Birdman. Keaton is an actor with a variety of talents who can play both comedic as well as dramatic parts. An actor who is versatile who is adept when it comes to dramatic and comedic roles. His passion for the performing arts started at the age of teen. He tried stand up comedy during his 20s. The comedian had a lousy career but this paved the way to his career as an actor. Unable to find success as a comedian he took up a job as cameraman for a TV cable channel. He discovered that his primary passion was in front the camera while he worked at the station. He was then able to secure a TV role, and he appeared in numerous seasons on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. The actor was naturally talented and became very popular in the world of television. After establishing a successful movie career, his comedic performances brought him a lot of attention. In Tim Burton's Batman in the film, he portrayed the superhero of the same name. He grew in his abilities as an actor and also ventured into production and direction. He was awarded numerous awards and nominations for his performance in the 2014 film Birdman.
